About

07/07/2009

The Bradford Catholic Players is a long standing, well established and respected Amateur Dramatic Society based in the Bradford Metropolitan District (see History).

Our timetable each year follows a similar pattern – we have our annual production, staged at the Alhambra Theatre in  Bradford every November, we have a concert which does not have a set format, and we have our Annual Mass.

We meet all year round, every Thursday evening,  at our rehearsal rooms on Rebecca Street in Bradford, next door to St Patricks Church on Westgate. Everyone is welcome and everyone is made welcome.

The objectives of the Society are:

a) to educate members in the musical, dramatic, performing and expressive arts,

b) to promote the spiritual life of the members,

c) to further the development of public appreciation and tast in the above arts,

d) to assist such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the Executive Committee shall from time to time determine.

Membership of the Society is open to all having sympathies with these objectives.

Regarding donations made to charity, since 2002, The Bradford Catholic Players have made payments totalling £33,800!
